He was educated at the Technical School and the Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm, as well as through study trips to France, Italy, Holland and Belgium. Even before his time at the Academy of Fine Arts, he copied landscape paintings by Düsseldorf artists at the Nationalmuseum, which sparked his interest in landscape painting – a subject area that would characterize his entire artistic career.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSchultzberg is considered a representative of the realistic landscape art and the national romantic style that was popular during the late 19th century.
