Kristen Kern
Krister Kern (b. 1977) is a Swedish artist and actor from Gothenburg. He is educated at the Gothenburg Academy of Theatre and has been active on Swedish theatre stages for many years.
In his painting, Kern works with an expression where story, color and mood are at the center. His visual world often moves in the borderland between dream and reality, where motifs and landscapes appear as moments from a larger story. The scenic feeling in his paintings bears clear traces of his background in the theater.
Through his painting, Krister Kern invites the viewer to stop and let the imagination continue the story beyond the image.
