LOTHAR VIGELANDZOON
Vernissage is planned for September 22-23. The guiding force behind Lothar's work is sculptural beauty. In his artistry, he transforms small everyday objects into great miracles where the cold solidity of bronze radiates warmth. The surreal combination of dream and reality entices us to touch the surface, to reassure ourselves of reality. Lothar's hyper-realistic cherry collection playfully invites us to take a bite even though we know the lady isn't real.

5-8 October. The fair with a focus on contemporary artists - Affordable Art Fair - is back in October and Galleri Melefors will be present. As usual, several exciting artists will visit the stand. Follow the newsletter to find out more info as it approaches!

HELLE BANG
Vernissage is planned for November 24-25. Helle Bang's expressive, abstract painting combined with her characteristic sculptures is what defines her as an artist. In her painting we come into contact with both heaven and earth, where nature is the unfathomable source for finding inspiration, energy and harmony. Nature and its poetic color tones are captured in a coloristic fine sensitivity through an expressive and abstract painting. In the end, it is the viewer and the work that stand alone in the center, a dialogue more significant than any other – it is in the meeting with the viewer that the work is ultimately completely finished. Her fantastic sculptures with graceful sculptural forms are both modern and timeless.

TRADITIONAL WINTER SALON
Naturally, the art year should end as it begins, with a Christmas salon. We let classical art play the main role in the run-up to the turn of the year - a tribute to the passage of time, those who have gone before us and those who come after.
