Upcoming exhibitions

Art is best experienced live. Openings are arranged at the gallery approximately once a month, all year round.

Realism & Figurative

Realistic and figurative art captures the world as it is - from meticulous photorealism and trompe l'œil to honest depictions of everyday life. Here classic craftsmanship and a contemporary look meet in works that fascinate and touch.

The watercolor poem of Nordic light

Christian Koivumaa

Christian Koivumaa captures the poetry of Nordic light in watercolour.

With roots in Tornedalen and active in Katrineholm, he depicts moods from both the city and northern lights landscape with a unique feeling for light, color and still movement. His work moves between the fairytale and the contemporary — always with a technical precision that makes his motifs timeless.

Handmade. Masterful. Timeless.

Sculpture

Gallery Melefors gathers sculptors who let the material speak - from bronze and stone to glass and new expressions. Through their hands, form, movement and light take on a life of their own and each work becomes a story in the room.

Abstract & Expressive

Here you meet art that draws power from the artist's inner world. With strong colors, free forms and emotional intensity, works are created that touch beyond the imagination.

Strong colors. FEMININE poetry.

Emilia Linderholm

Emilia Linderholm paints with vibrant sensuality, inspired by opera and dance. Her harmonious color play and feminine figures convey movement and emotion, often complemented by glass art that reflects her unique vision.

Pop & Naive Art

Colorful and playful art that draws inspiration from popular culture and the child's direct imagery. Here, humor and seriousness meet in expressions that feel both immediate and timelessly collectible.

About Gallery Melefors

Johan Melefors, born 1971, founder and CEO of Galleri Melefors grew up in a family that is the third generation in the auction and antique industry. Already while growing up, Johan developed an interest in art and since the early 1990s has collected and traded in classic, modern and contemporary art. He started Galleri Melefors in Linköping in 2013 when he moved home from Stockholm to his hometown of Linköping, which he thought at the time lacked an art shop and a gallery with a breadth of established collectors' art and a well-thought-out and future-interesting contemporary catalog to show.
