As spring's big "Grand finale" at the gallery, we invite you to experience the sparkling exhibition "The Music of Colors", showcasing Emilia Linderholms latest paintings and glass works that she has been working on during the last year. The exhibition is also visited by Emilia's mother Lena Linderholm, who shows a number of her finest original works. This will be a unique chance to experience Linderholm's summery colors in a festive atmosphere at the gallery before the summer season begins.

BERTIL VALLIEN 60 YEARS AT KOSTA
ARTIST COLLECTION 2023
In 2023, Bertil Vallien celebrates 60 years at Kosta. To celebrate he has created an exclusive collection that reflects on his great artistic work. New pieces to the collection are planned to be released throughout the year.
Bertil Vallien is a Swedish glass designer and ceramist, a world-renowned artist with a huge record of accomplishment. Working primarily in glass, Vallien has developed a unique idiosyncratic style of sandcast glass sculptures, often depicting boats and heads.
BOATS OF DREAMS
Vallien's characteristic boats are filled with symbolic messages. The imagery of glass art invites the viewer on board a reflective journey in the tradition of Plutarch - "You never go down the same river twice".
PHILOSOPHICAL MASTERPIECES
Bertil Vallien's work Black Elements: House of Mystery is an exploration of the mystery of glass as a medium. Dreamlike and symbolic, the gold face floats towards the viewer even though it is fixed in the glass block. Discover the new artworks in Bertil's Artist Collection 2023 here.
