Nick Alm (b. 1985 in Eksjö) discovered the joy of painting with oil and watercolor at an early age and is today one of our most noted artists in the realistic world of motifs. As in a snapshot from a memory, he allows the figures to be in detailed focus while the periphery is gently blurred. "A moment frozen in time". The emotions and tension that arise between the individuals are often conveyed in a wordless direct communication with the viewer.

Nick Alm has bl.a. studied in the figurative classical tradition from a living model in Florence, Italy, landscape painting with the Hudson River fellowship in New York and for a longer period with Odd Nerdrum. Nick Alm exhibits regularly internationally and in Sweden and has received numerous international awards.
