Johan Krouthén, Swedish artist born in 1858 in Linköping, died in 1932. Krouthén can be regarded as one of the first plein air painters in Sweden. He was a portrait painter of the highest order and a sunshine painter. Where sunny garden scenes with flourishing fruit trees and landscapes give a taste of the idyllic. Johan Krouthén is represented at Norrköping Art Museum and Gothenburg Art Museum.
