Erik Olson Artist (1901-86), was a Swedish painter, draftsman, graphic artist, sculptor and theater decorator. Erik Olson was a surrealist and devoted himself to dream-like, surrealistic works of art. He participates in several of the major international surrealist exhibitions worldwide, with Mondrian in New York in 1964 as the only representative from Scandinavia. During the 1930s, several of his most visionary works see the light of day, and during the 1960s and 70s, streaks of surrealism reappear in his art in ecstatic and erotic space travel.
