Georg Pauli
George Pauli Artist (1855–1935) He brought inspiration from Rome in classical art, which he used for his fresco painting in his many decorative works in public and private environments in Sweden. However, in 1911–12 Pauli studied with André Lhote in Paris, and then he developed a new style with slightly cubist stylizations of nature. Pauli was the oldest of the Swedish cubists. He used the technique as a problem solver, to create a whole of the space. He used this knowledge in his execution of the mural painting in Jönköpings Läroverk, 1912. This was the first cubist mural painting in Sweden.

Art is best experienced live. Openings are arranged at the gallery approximately once a month, all year round. Here you can experience a wide selection that alternates between contemporary art, where the artist himself is often present, and classic or modern collections.
