Tryggelin, Erik

Erik Tryggelin artist (1878 - 1962) After academy studies in Stockholm and Paris, he established himself as a painter with art of urban motifs, often from Vadstena, and figure scenes as a specialty in a style that was more connected to 19th-century plein air painting than to contemporary art trends of a more expressionistic kind. Erik is one of Sweden's most accredited artists. Erik Tryggelin is represented at the National Museum and the City Museum in Stockholm.
