Louise Hävre has had exhibitions in ten different countries with metropolises such as Paris, London, Monaco, New York and Rome. After international success, Louise has now two years in a row been named four times as number one on Swedish Artists' top ten list. She has also been called Sweden's answer to Frida Kahlo. Louise paints mostly in oil. Mirrors, stairs and vaults are often found there, where the viewer can meet himself and a helping force. The expression also reflects a great commitment to charity, the World Childhood Foundation, SOS Children's Villages, Crown Princess Victoria's Children's Diabetes Fund are some of the organizations that Louise supports. Louise's success and emotional creations have echoed around the art world, from the Vatican, where one of her paintings hangs, to many of her artist colleagues who now increasingly draw inspiration for their own creations. In addition to here at Melefors, Louise also shows her paintings at Solliden and is represented in Guggenheim Art Magasin.
The painting connects with its abstract expressionism to a strong collective symbolism. In the works there is a flow and a strength that leaves room for the viewer to be able to enter the paintings. We are connected with the micro & macrocosm, it becomes a journey for reflection in our secret lives. Where you can create your own interpretation and place.
