Victor Ajayi (b . 1999) native of Nigeria, raised in Ireland and now living in Stockholm. His artwork moves within the realistic narrative with modern impressionistic elements. Here shines a natural talent that has found and developed a unique visual language in the combination of realistic oil on clay and photographic composition. He is self-taught and paints mainly in oil and charcoal drawings.  

Victor Ajayi creates a visual world where each work of art becomes like a scene from a movie, paused in the middle of the moment of excitement. His creative process often starts from observant photography and sometimes even more dimensions when it is transferred to the canvas with brush and oil or charcoal. With inspiration from cinematic photography, reflections, light, and movement run like a red thread through Ajayi's art and we are invited to become observers of the night.  

As an artist, Victor Ajayi talks about how our world is transformed as darkness falls and the glow of the streetlamps takes over. As dusk falls, it takes on a new shape before our eyes, and if we stop and take time to observe, we notice the intricate details of our surroundings - the light and the sounds that whisper takes on the mysteries of the night.
