Victor Ajayi

Victor Ajayi (b. 1999) is born in Nigeria, grew up in Ireland and now works in Stockholm. His artwork moves within the realistic narrative with modern impressionistic elements. Here shines a natural talent that has found and developed a unique visual language in the combination of realistic oil painting and photographic composition. He is self-taught and paints mainly in oil and charcoal drawings.
Victor Ajayi creates a visual world where each work of art becomes like a scene from a movie, paused in the middle of the moment of tension. His creative process often starts from observant photography and reaches even more dimensions when it is transferred to the canvas with brush and oil or charcoal.
