Christian Berg described his sculptural work in the following words: "My sculptural work is an expression of what grips and engages me, whether it concerns a peculiar flower, or a tree shape, a stone or a shell fragment on the beach, of which one wants to make poetry, or one wants to transform a figure into a monumental structure , where in the interrelationship of the proportions one seeks to bring out something of seriousness and religiosity."
