Caroline af Ugglas, born in 1972 in Bromma, is a prominent Swedish artist and musician. She started painting as a child and has developed a unique style she calls "Antidepressism". Af Ugglas combines her painting with music, and her work is characterized by an imaginative and psychologically charged aesthetic, often with clown noses as symbolic elements. She has exhibited at, among others, Liljevalchs and uses her travels as inspiration for her paintings.
