Bert Håge Häverö (1932 - 2014). Few other artists have managed to capture the Swedish summer idyll as well as Bert-Håge Häverö's naively realistic archipelago renderings in vivid colors. In his pictures, we dream away to the brightest time of the year when the sun shines from a clear blue sky, the ground is green and the seagulls fly in the sky. The beautiful archipelago environment in Häverö's paintings has a special luminous power. Bert-Håge Häverö depicts places and people with great humor and warmth. He is a self-taught painter and debuted in an exhibition at the Statens Sjöhistoriska museum in Stockholm in 1972. The exhibition was followed by the Prix Suisse de Peinture naive Internationale in 1984, where he represented Sweden and was awarded a bronze plaque and honorary mention.
