Pierre Rådsten Prints
Pierre Rådsten (b. 1982, active in Nässjö) is known for his fantastic narrative naivism, characterized by a colorful palette. In his paintings, the viewer is met with influences from early naïve movements with people gathering in idyllic environments and crowds. With playful precision, Rådsten creates detailed oil paintings that invite the viewer to a life-affirming journey in the positive signs of naïveté. In true storytelling joy, he invites us to open the door ajar to idyllic restaurant environments, crowds and beautiful nature scenes inspired by his upbringing and childhood memories of gastronomy in both France and Sweden. Pierre Rådsten's creative work began at a young age with a paint box that he received as a gift. Self-taught by nature, he has taken great inspiration and lessons from his grandfather, the artist Rune Rådsten, whose artist friends included names such as Sven X:et Erixson and Otte Sköld.
Upcoming Exhibitions
Art is best experienced live. Openings are arranged at the gallery approximately once a month, all year round. Here you can experience a wide selection that alternates between contemporary art, where the artist himself is often present, and classic or modern collections.
