Carl Milles
Carl Milles (1875–1955) was a Swedish sculptor, known for his dynamic and often large-scale works inspired by mythology, nature and movement. He trained in Paris and worked as an assistant to Auguste Rodin, which influenced his style. Milles is particularly known for his fountains, including the Poseidon statue in Gothenburg and the Orpheus group at the Stockholm Concert Hall. His home and studio, Millesgården on Lidingö, is now a museum of his life and work.
Upcoming Exhibitions
Art is best experienced live. Openings are arranged at the gallery approximately once a month, all year round. Here you can experience a wide selection that alternates between contemporary art, where the artist himself is often present, and classic or modern collections.
