Petra Dorst, born in 1976 in the Netherlands, has had a strong motivation to create a dream world around her since childhood. This is still evident today in her playful sculptural art. "You don't make art... it arises from within," says Petra. Thanks to her many years of experience, she masters beautiful materials such as bronze, gold and silver in her sculptures.

"You don't become an artist; you are a artist because you have no other choice. It's as if the desire to create comes from deep within the subconscious. It is always present, creating is like breathing! The purpose of art, whether large or small, is to enjoy it."
