A exclusive edition of bronze sculptures created as a homage to the Swedish artist and fairy tale illustrator John Bauer. The Danish artist Helle Bang has inspired by the fairy tales that John Bauer made so famous and with his own hands carefully shaped these tasteful figures. Bauer himself tragically lived only 36 years old but despite his short time on earth managed to shape the image of how we see the classic fairy tales. A world of images that lives on over a hundred years later. It is a true privilege to present parts of his magical life's work in this edition with 11 bronze sculptures in a limited edition of 36. Galleri Melefors together with artist Helle Bang donates 1000 SEK per sold sculpture from Bauer Collection Edition 36 to benefit Lisa Bauer & The Bauer Quartet and their work in setting John Bauer's works of art to music and song. For all works sold in the edition of 11 different works, the scholarship amounts to a total of 396,000 SEK.

John Bauer Edition 36 is a limited collection of 11 sculptures in an edition of 36, where no. 1-6 are offered as a complete collection with all 11 sculptures and no. 7-36 are offered as individual works.
