An exclusive edition of bronze sculptures created as a homage to the Swedish artist and fairy tale illustrator John Bauer. The Danish artist Helle Bang has been inspired by the fairy tales that John Bauer made so famous and has carefully designed these tasteful figures with her own hands. Bauer himself tragically lived only 36 years old, but despite his short time on earth, he managed to shape the image of how we view the classic fairy tales. A world of images that lives on over a hundred years later. It is a true privilege to present parts of his magical life's work in this edition of 11 bronze sculptures in a limited edition of 36. Galleri Melefors together with artist Helle Bang donates 1000 SEK per sold sculpture from Bauer Collection Edition 36 to benefit Lisa Bauer & The Bauer Quartet and their work in setting John Bauer's artwork to music and song. For all works sold in the edition of 11 different works, the scholarship amounts to a total of 396,000 SEK.

John Bauer Edition 36 is a limited collection of 11 sculptures in an edition of 36, where nos. 1–6 are offered as a complete collection with all 11 sculptures and nos. 7–36 are offered as individual works.
