I denna duo-utställning på Galleri Melefors möts Louise Hävre och Krister Kern i två olika förhållningssätt till måleriet.

Louise Hävre arbetar med ett lågmält och koncentrerat måleri där ljus, färg och landskapets stillhet står i centrum. Med Ölands natur som återkommande referens undersöker hon hur subtila förändringar i ton och ljus kan skapa ett rum för eftertanke.

Krister Kern rör sig i ett mer berättande bildspråk där figurativa inslag möter ett associativt måleri. Med en bakgrund inom teater finns i hans arbete en tydlig känsla för scen och närvaro.

Tillsammans bildar deras verk ett möte mellan stillhet och berättelse, där måleriet öppnar för både tolkning och fantasi.
