In this duo exhibition at Galleri Melefors, Louise Hävre and Krister Kern meet in two different approaches to painting.
Louise Havre works with a low-key and concentrated style of painting where light, color and the stillness of the landscape are at the center. With Öland's nature as a recurring reference, she investigates how subtle changes in tone and light can create a space for reflection.
Krister Kern moves in a more narrative imagery where figurative elements meet associative painting. With a background in theater, his work has a clear sense of stage and presence.
Together, their works form a meeting between stillness and narrative, where the painting opens up for both interpretation and imagination.
