Lennart Olausson was born in 1944 in Stockholm. He was educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (1966-1971) and the Swedish College of Arts, Crafts and Design (1961-1965) and is represented at, among others, the Moderna Museet, the Nationalmuseum and the Swedish Art Council. Lennart Olausson is a multifaceted artist and a strong source of inspiration to many other artists. His varied painting, extraordinary technique and ability to paint in all possible styles are admired by art collectors, art connoisseurs and fellow artists alike. The driving force behind his paintings is his enormous curiosity that spurs him to constantly explore new ideas, styles and patterns.
