Ulf Rolloff

Ulf Rollof (born 1961) is a Swedish visual artist, sculptor and conceptual artist born in Karlskrona. He studied with Michael Schnorr in San Diego and at the Royal Academy of Art in Stockholm. Early in his career, Rollof represented Sweden at both Documenta IX and the Venice Biennale.

Rollof works in a variety of materials and expressions, from installations and sculptures to video, drawing and painting. In his art, he often explores the boundary between nature and culture and is interested in contrasts and existential themes such as life and death. His work has been exhibited internationally and is represented in several museums around the world.
