Goran Wärff belongs to the exclusive group of Swedish artists whose works are well known among glass lovers both in Sweden and abroad. Few people have such a feeling for glass as Göran Wärff, who has always cherished the classic master skills in glassblowing and grinding. Wärff wants to use glass to "create a home for light, warmth and the sensual". The play of light in glass volumes and the endless optical phenomena that occur when glass refracts light constantly recur in his productions. In addition to the glass itself, nature, and the play of light in nature, are his main sources of inspiration.
