Erik Olson (1901-86), was a Swedish painter, draftsman, graphic artist, sculptor and theatre set designer. Erik Olson was a surrealist and devoted himself to dreamlike, hyperrealistic works of art. In the French capital he exhibits with the concretist group Cercle et Carré and he participates in several of the major international concretist and surrealist exhibitions worldwide, bl.a...with Mondrian in New York in 1964 as the only representative from Scandinavia. During the 1930s, several of his most visionary works saw the light of day, and during the 1960s and 70s, streaks of surrealism returned to his art in ecstatic and erotic space travel, newly invented mythological figures, and labyrinthine spaces with so-called "impossible perspectives." The apocalyptic storm clouds and tidal waves of the 60s transformed during the 70s into shimmering light paintings, which were inspired by the tides and space in Brittany.

Johan Melefors, born 1971, founder and CEO of Galleri Melefors grew up in a family that is the third generation in the auction and antique industry. Already while growing up, Johan developed an interest in art and since the early 1990s has collected and traded in classic, modern and contemporary konst.Galleri Melefors in Linköping, he started in 2013 when he moved home from Stockholm to his hometown of Linköping, which he then thought lacked an art shop and a gallery with a wide range of established collector's art and a well-thought-out and future-interesting contemporary catalog to view.
