Louise Havre moves in a landscape of light and stillness, where Öland becomes both her home and her mirror. In her painting she seeks the slow shifts – how color deepens as the day turns, how silence can take shape, how a field can bear traces of time. Her expression is characterized by a sensitive vision and a stubborn will to let the quiet speak. Through her works she opens spaces where the viewer can stop and encounter the world in its most tranquil moments.
