Göran Wärff belongs to the exclusive group of Swedish artists whose work is well known among glass lovers both in Sweden and abroad. Few have such a feeling for the glass mass as Göran Wärff, who has always protected the classic master skills in glassblowing and grinding. With the glass, Wärff wants to "create a home for light, warmth and the sensual". The play of light in the glass volumes and the endless optical phenomena that occur when the glass refracts the light constantly recur in his productions. In addition to the glass itself, nature, and the play of light in nature, are his main sources of inspiration.
