Frequently Asked Questions
Andreas Lundberg - Poor Little Rich Girl
At the age of 7, Barbara Hutton became a multi-billionaire. She had already lost her mother and grandfather, with whom she lived. When Barbara was 17, she had the 8th and 9th floors of her family's beautiful house on 5th Avenue converted into a 28-room apartment. She lived in luxury but was never happy. Barbara was constantly looking for love and was married 7 times. She tried her luck with a count, a successful tennis player, a playboy, a famous actor and three princes. She bought the title of the last prince for 50,000 pounds. All marriages ended in disaster. One after just 53 days. Two of her husbands died in car crashes, one of which in the Rolls Royce he had been given by Barbara. But in one of the marriages she had a son who was the apple of her eye. When he later died in a plane crash, her heart was broken and she never recovered. Severely scarred by anorexia, alcohol and pill abuse, Barbara died alone at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. At the time of her death, she had only $3,500 left in her bank account.

“Silent Stories” is an art project created by husband and wife Andreas Lundberg and Annie Vesterdahl Lundberg. Andreas is a photographer with a background in advertising, fashion and documentary photography. Annie is a hairdresser, make-up artist and in the project also a stylist. Each work is inspired by a true story or life story. Andreas and Annie have made their own interpretation of these stories and sometimes they have changed the time period and place. The creative process is often long and exciting, a constant search for a story that they can fantasize about and turn into a work of art. Hundreds of sketches that are turned and twisted eventually become a photograph. The Silent Stories art project started in 2016. Each work is signed and numbered in a limited edition. The stories that the photographs have been inspired by are attached to the back of the works.

About Gallery Melefors
Johan Melefors, born 1971, founder and CEO of Galleri Melefors grew up in a family that is the third generation in the auction and antique industry. Already while growing up, Johan developed an interest in art and since the early 1990s has collected and traded in classic, modern and contemporary konst.Galleri Melefors in Linköping, he started in 2013 when he moved home from Stockholm to his hometown of Linköping, which he then thought lacked an art shop and a gallery with a wide range of established collector's art and a well-thought-out and future-interesting contemporary catalog to view.
