Olof Arborelius Konstnär (1842-1915) was a Swedish visual artist born in Orsa. He studied on the advice of Johan Fredrik Höckerts at the Art Academy in Stockholm and was a student of Richard Bergh. From the academy he received a travel scholarship and visited Düsseldorf, Paris, Munich and Rome, upon his return he became a member. Arborelius worked as a teacher at the Technical School, was connected to the Opponents and participated in the artists' association's exhibitions. He is mainly known for his landscapes and genre paintings, inspired by the painting of the Barbizon school. His art is realistic in its expression and his landscape motifs are taken from Dalarna, Bergslagen, Switzerland, Italy, Stockholm and the west coast.
