B.G. Karlsson depicts landscapes and encounters from another time with warmth, poetic feeling and a low-key narrative power. His paintings draw their atmosphere from nature and from a curiosity about life in the past – interpreted through the present's own light and emotional state.

Born in 1954 and active since his early teens, BG today lives in a small croft outside Ljungby, where the rhythm and tranquility of nature continue to characterize his vibrant and emotionally charged visual world.
