Fabian Edelstam

Fabian Edelstam (b. 1965) is a Swedish artist, born in Stockholm and active in Paris since 1990. He trained at Beckmans School of Design in Stockholm and then at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris.

Edelstam is internationally active and particularly appreciated for his classic and elegant portrait painting. He has carried out commissions for, among others, the UN, UNESCO, the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the European Parliament, and several international companies and institutions.

Among the people he has portrayed are Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, H.M. Queen Silvia and Prince Albert II of Monaco. His works are represented in both private and public collections around Europe.
