Urban Malm is an artist who lives in Linköping. At the beginning of the 2000s, Urban started painting with the very special vegetable linseed oil paint that is used for printing presses. The color hardens and becomes glossy, almost like a car paint. The technology is advanced and the color is built up layer upon layer with different palette knives. On some of the paintings, Urban also uses Swarovski crystals for effective details. Urban paints when he feels positive tendencies and his driving force lies in creating new works and constantly developing his artistic talent. It is also in the process that he finds his inspiration. Urban Art has a wide international audience that appreciates his paintings.
