“There's a reason we don't see the world in black and white.”
— Celerie Kemble
We are an artist couple – father and daughter – Pierre Österholm (b. 1951) and Fanny Gellberg (b. 1990), who in 2022 accidentally came across a mannequin. She stood naked in a corner: pale, alone and expressionless.
It was the start of a journey in color and pattern.
We have long been fascinated by the magic of pattern and color. Lines, dots, squares and circles. The sharp against the soft. The light against the dark. The strong line against the thin. And all the colors that talk to – and sometimes against – each other.
We've never met a color we didn't like.
Today, the mannequin stands there in full force – dressed in color. No longer anonymous, but self-evident and fantastic.
