The watercolor master from Tornedalen continues his artistic journey with clarity. A year into being a full-time artist, Christian Koiuvmaa stands firmer in his artistry than ever before. With a steady hand, his brush dances over the paper and accurately captures environments, scenes and light. As adept at the large sweeping wet-on-wet fields as at the small whimsical details of the characters that populate his worlds, he masters the moods of watercolor painting.

At the Affordable Art Fair, Christian Koivumaa brings a wide collection that reinforces his strength. From the northern mountains of his home village to depictions of Stockholm, from majestic sunrises in backlight to the play of shadows in the alleys of the old town.
