Oleg Bondarenko
Oleg Bondarenko is a new exclamation point in Swedish art. After several decades of creation and exhibitions in the USA, Spain, Holland and Brazil, he has settled on Gotland. Oleg is enchanted by nature and its cycles, in whose stillness he draws inspiration. Autumn's preparation for winter and the colors that fade to be reborn with full force remind us of Gustav Klimt's palette. Oleg Bondarenko is firmly rooted in art history as a trained architect and in Renaissance painting since the age of 10. He draws on technique, color scales and compositions from classical masters such as Botticello and Caravaggio but with his own, modern voice. In mystery, the inexplicable, and beauty, Oleg creates a deep visual world to return to with constantly new discoveries for the viewer. A journey through time and space with nature as an organic backdrop.
Upcoming Exhibitions
Art is best experienced live. Openings are arranged at the gallery approximately once a month, all year round. Here you can experience a wide selection that alternates between contemporary art, where the artist himself is often present, and classic or modern collections.
