Jan Erik Hafstrom, born July 31, 1937 in Stockholm, is a Swedish painter, draftsman and sculptor.

Jan Håfström grew up in Stockholm. He has been called "one of the great romantics in Swedish contemporary art". Jan Håfström studied philosophy and art history at Lund University and graduated with a fil.kanddegree in 1962. He then studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. in Stockholm 1963–1968. He made his debut in 1966 and has also worked on short films and written art criticism in newspapers.

In 2007, Jan Håfström received the Swedish Visual Artists' Fund's Grand Scholarship.
