Bert Håge Häverö (1932 - 2014). Few other artists have managed to capture the Swedish summer idyll as well as Bert-Håge Häverö's naively realistic archipelago renderings in bright colors. In his pictures we dream away to the brightest time of the year when the sun shines from a clear blue sky, the ground turns green and seagulls fly in the sky. The beautiful archipelago environment in Häverö's paintings possesses a special luminous power. Bert-Håge Häverö depicts places and people with great humor and warmth. He is a self-taught painter and made his debut in an exhibition at the Statens Sjöhistoriska Museum in Stockholm in 1972. The exhibition was followed by the Prix Suisse de Peinture naïve Internationale in 1984, where he represented Sweden and was awarded a bronze plaque and honorary mention.

Johan Melefors, born 1971, founder and CEO of Galleri Melefors grew up in a family that is the third generation in the auction and antique industry.
