At the age of 7, Barbara Hutton became a multi-billionaire. She had already lost her mother and grandfather with whom she lived. When Barbara was 17, she had the 8th and 9th floors of the family's beautiful house on 5th Avenue converted into a 28-room apartment. She lived in luxury but was never happy. Barbara was constantly looking for love and was married a total of 7 times. She tried her luck with a count, a successful tennis player, a playboy, a famous actor and three princes. The last prince she bought the title to for £50,000. All marriages ended in disaster. One already after 53 days. Two of her husbands died in car crashes, one of them in the Rolls Royce he had been given by Barbara. But in one of the marriages she had a son who was the apple of her eye. When he later died in a plane crash, her heart was broken and she never recovered. Severely crippled by anorexia, alcohol and pill abuse, Barbera died alone at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. At her death, she had only $3,500 left in her bankbook.

"Silent Stories" is an art project created by husband and wife Andreas Lundberg and Annie Vesterdahl Lundberg. Andreas is a photographer with a background in advertising, fashion and documentary photography. Annie is a hairdresser, make-up artist and, in the project, also a stylist. Each piece is inspired by a true story or fate. Andreas and Annie have made their own interpretation of these stories and sometimes they have changed the era and place. The creative process is often long and exciting, a constant search for a story that they can fantasize about and turn into a work of art. Hundreds of sketches that are turned and twisted eventually become a photograph. The art project Silent Stories started in 2016. Each work is signed and numbered in a limited edition. The stories that inspired the photographs are attached to the back of the works.
