"Tyra was only 18 when she arrived at Upperud Manor. She had traveled from Vänersborg to seek employment as a secretary for the master of the historic ironworks. The master became quite fond of Tyra, and she got the job, moving into a nearby house called Jägarbyggnaden. Tyra performed her duties with great skill, and a love grew between the secretary and her master. The new romance was kept secret, as it was not accepted due to their difference in social class. When the master's mother passed away, he had Tyra move into the manor, where his five unmarried sisters also lived. The local pastor remarked that the master was living in sin, which only resulted in the master no longer attending Sunday sermons. Tyra was never allowed to marry her master, but their forbidden love endured for life. At night, he would take her on moonlit rowing trips. They would row through a small, hidden canal, hoping no one would see them. The canal became known as "Tyra's Canal" among the locals, and it still bears that name today."

"Silent Stories" is an art project created by husband and wife Andreas Lundberg and Annie Vesterdahl Lundberg. Andreas is a photographer with a background in advertising, fashion and documentary photography. Annie is a hairdresser, make-up artist and, in the project, also a stylist. Each piece is inspired by a true story or fate. Andreas and Annie have made their own interpretation of these stories and sometimes they have changed the era and place. The creative process is often long and exciting, a constant search for a story that they can fantasize about and turn into a work of art. Hundreds of sketches that are turned and twisted eventually become a photograph. The art project Silent Stories started in 2016. Each work is signed and numbered in a limited edition. The stories that inspired the photographs are attached to the back of the works.
