Carl Larsson, born May 28, 1853 in Gamla Stan in Stockholm, died January 22, 1919 in Falun in Dalarna, is one of Sweden's and the Nordic region's most valued artists of all time. His pictures, above all the idyllic depictions of the home and life at Lilla Hyttnäs in Sundborn, radiate a bright and warm sense of life that still shines at us today. Carl & Karin Larsson's home Lilla Hyttnäs was to have a revolutionary significance for home interior design far beyond Sweden's borders and formed the framework for Carl Larsson's work in words and images. Carl Larsson is one of Sweden's foremost artists of all time.

Framing: The work is framed as shown with anti-reflective and UV-protective Artglas.
