Gösta Adrian-Nilsson eller GAN (1884–1965) växte upp i Lund och räknas idag som en av de mest betydande pionjärerna inom modernismen. Till skillnad från flera av sina samtida konstnärer, exempelvis Grünewald, åkte GAN inte till Paris för att ta del av den franska konsten utan valde att åka till Berlin. Här mötte han under 1910-talet den franska kubismens formbyggen och den italienska futurismen på galleri Der Sturm. GAN studerade de olika konststilarnas inriktningar och satte samman sina intryck till en helt egen stil. Hans bilder från 1910-talet är splittrade som i ett kalejdoskop. GAN kom till Paris först 1920 där han lärde känna Fernand Léger. Successivt började han utveckla sina geometriskt stiliserade bilder som hålls samman av kompositionens geometri, med en stomme byggd på skarpa vinklar och spända kurvor. Gösta Adrian-Nilsson är idag en av våra mest eftertraktade konstnärer.

The calendar is filled with exciting exhibitions and is continuously updated. In Linköping there is approximately one exhibition a month, alternatively we participate in various fairs.
